Where to Eat at Universal Epic Universe: Land By Land Breakdown

Universal Epic Universe opens on May 22, 2025. Once the first guests pass under its Chronos Tower, they will find themselves at the doorstep of five uniquely-themed lands: Celestial Park, How To Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

Like other theme parks, the success of Universal Epic Universe will come down to storytelling. From the outdoor environments to the rides and entertainment, every facet of the guest experience helps tell the story of the land you’re in. This also includes food! Before you visit Universal Epic Universe, make sure to review this land-by-land breakdown of the restaurants and eateries available.

After entering Universal Epic Universe, guests will be in Celestial Park, the first of the five themed lands.

Celestial Park’s dining scene is vast and diverse, with by far the highest number of dining options of all the lands.

TABLE SERVICE DINING: ATLANTIC RESTAURANT

The flagship sit-down restaurant found in Celestial Park is called Atlantic.

Universal Epic Universe describes Atlantic as “an undersea culinary fantasy,” with much of the menu featuring seafood dishes. Think Sea Bass, like the one shown below, nestled amid carrot mochi, fresh sugar snap peas, aromatic lemongrass broth, and starfruit slices.

Lighter menu fare includes the Romesco Romanesco, made with oven-roasted Romanesco, wild mushrooms and pea tendrils on a bed of fregola and hazelnut romesco.

For dessert, be sure to grab the Landlubber’s Snickerdoodle Loot, made with snickerdoodle cake and served in a beach pail with cookie butter ganache, surrounded by Biscoff sand and gummy sharks.

On the second floor of Atlantic, you can enjoy a full-service bar called Aquaria Bar. Here, guests can order off Atlantic’s menu and enjoy more of the themed environment as they sip on signature cocktails like the Northern Lights Martini.

With “serene, illuminated fish swimming above you,” the vibes at Atlantic Restaurant are going to be top-tier.

TABLE SERVICE DINING: THE BLUE DRAGON PAN-ASIAN RESTAURANT 

For a totally different dining experience in Celestial Park, there’s The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant.

QUICK-SERVICE DINING: OAK & STAR TAVERN

Celestial Park has a full lineup of quick-service eateries and places to grab a drink or quick bite to eat, like Oak & Star Tavern. This is where you’ll find “sizzling BBQ and cold beer” as you “gather with family or friends round the fiery hearth of an ancient, starlight-filled oak tree.” This is also going to be of home of The Plastered Owl Bar.

The menu at Oak & Star Tavern includes classic barbecue favorites, including Two Meats Platter with Spit Roasted Citrus Herb Chicken and Smoked St. Louis Ribs with your choice of smoked brisket, smoked ribs, pulled pork, cheddar jalapeno sausage or spit-roasted herbed-infused chicken paired with sides like braised greens, mac and cheese and more…

Dining at Epic Universe: How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Families will have plenty to see and do in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. From one-of-a-kind interactions with dragons from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise to kid-friendly attractions, it’s easy to see everyone working up an appetite.

QUICK-SERVICE DINING: MEAD HALL

The main eatery in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk is Mead Hall. This quick-service dining location is where you can “eat and drink like a Viking,” and is open for lunch and dinner.

Its menu features meat and fish-based dishes along with sandwiches and dessert, like Thawfest Platter, made with tender chicken drumsticks glazed in a wild berry BBQ glaze, grilled salmon and succulent sausage served with a medley of roasted carrots, cipollini onions, Nordic fries and side sauces.

Handheld options will include the Sullen Sea Sandwich, which come with salmon with pickled cucumbers and zesty horseradish dill crème on a pumpernickel Kaiser bun and a side of ancient grains with sundried berries.

For lighter fare, you can choose the Nordic Harvest Salad. It starts with a bed of kale and arugula greens, crisp red cabbage, radishes and hearty ancient grains. Blueberries and crisp apples add tangy flavor. A sprinkle of trail mix adds a satisfying crunch and raspberry vinaigrette tops it all off.

For dessert, guests of all ages will want to try Stormfly’s Catch of the Day. It’s a chocolate mousse fish nestled atop a bed of colorful crispy rice cereal, creating a delightful combination of creamy and crunchy sweetness.

Other dining options at Isle of Berk include Spit Fyre Grill, where guests can dine on “delicious helpings of greens, grains or rice topped with a variety of meats flame-seared by a helpful (unseen) dragon fry cook.” For a quick bite to eat, Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel will offer Mac & Cheese cones in a variety of styles.

Dining at Epic Universe: Super Nintendo World

Dining in Super Nintendo World will draw inspiration from the other Super Nintendo World lands at Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Hollywood. If you’ve been to those parks, then you have an idea of what you’re in for as far as dining goes!

Here, you can dine on a menu that includes the Mario Burger, made with an all-beef patty, topped with savory mushrooms, fresh lettuce, tomato and melted American cheese, served on a brioche bun…

…and Bowser’s Fireball Challenge. This comes with a a towering 1lb. meatball topped with gooey mozzarella cheese in rich mushroom marinara sauce and fresh parsley. Served with a Bowser-inspired puff pastry and a side of hot sauce, this fiery feast will ignite your taste buds.

Other eateries in Super Nintendo World include The Bubbly Barrel, where you can sip on a refreshingly cool, tropical drink. Yoshi’s Snack Island will also keep you refreshed with juices and fruit based specialty beverages. Or, grab a variety of snacks at Turbo Boost Treats.

Dining at Epic Universe: Dark Universe

One of the most highly-anticipated lands in Epic Universe is Dark Universe. Here, Universal’s classic monsters from Dracula to Frankenstein intermingle in a moody, Halloween-eque land known as Darkmoor.

Other eateries in Dark Universe include The Burning Blade Tavern and De Lacey’s Cottage. The Burning Blade Tavern will be a sight to behold with its windmill out front bursting into actual flames throughout the day. Its menu will feature burgers, wings, bratwurst, pretzels and specialty beverages. De Lacey’s Cottage will be a perfect pit stop with cinnamon bites, pretzels and more.

Dining at Epic Universe: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Wizards, witches, and Muggles alike will head straight to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic when Epic Universe opens. Here, Universal Orlando’s third installment in its Wizarding World lands brings to life both the British Ministry of Magic as well as 1920s Paris, as seen in the Fantastic Beasts franchise.

Over at Le Goblet Noir, another dining option in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, you can try The Alchemist’s Platter, featuring smoked sausage, potato and cheese pierogies, and tangy pickled eggs. Vibrant marinated beets, savory caramelized onions, and a warm pretzel are served with zesty German mustard and cheese fondue.
