The Ultimate Guide to Fall and Halloween at Walt Disney World (2026 Edition)
Planning a trip to Walt Disney World between now and the end of October? If you’re a fan of all things spooky (but not too scary), now is a great time of year to visit. Disney goes all-out with its Halloween and fall offerings, with something for every guest to enjoy.
Fall is my favorite season, especially as someone who lives in New England. It always feels like such a tease writing about fall and Halloween as early as we do in the theme park world. Conservatively, Orlando has a solid two months of summer-like weather remaining, yet the pumpkins have already lined Main Street, U.S.A., and the first Halloween party of the season kicks off this Friday.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Magic Kingdom’s flagship event every fall is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This after-hours event takes place on select nights from August 7 through October 31. This is a hard-ticketed event, meaning separate admission is required.
Fans love Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for multiple reasons, including shorter wait times for attractions. The parties are lower in capacity than that of a regular day in the park, so attendees tend to experience more elbow room and the ability to ride their favorite rides without long lines. Select rides have party-exclusive flourishes during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary, like Space Mountain with all of the lights turned off.
Character interactions are another unique draw to the Halloween parties. Several characters, including Mickey Mouse, are dressed in Halloween costumes and make for one-of-a-kind family photos. Guests are also encouraged to dress up in their Halloween best. And where there’s a Halloween costume, there’s trick-or-treating. Kids will have no problem filling bags with candy handed out by Cast Members.
Guests looking for more character interactions will find multiple dance parties and experiences, including new offerings for 2026: A Masquerade with Stitch, featuring Lilo, Stitch, and Angel, as well as See Spirited Swashbucklers with Capttain Jack Sparrow.
As far as entertainment goes, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party delivers in spades. The long-running Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is always a crowd pleaser, and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular puts a Halloween twist on Disney World’s nightly fireworks. The Cinderella Castle stage show for the Halloween parties is the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, another fan favorite.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is home to tons of party-exclusive food and beverage items. Classics like the Halloween-themed Mickey Cinnamon Roll and the Ursula Cone are available, as well as nearly 20 new savory and sweet menu items around the park. Exclusive merchandise is also available for purchase during event hours.

EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival
If your idea of a perfect fall visit to Disney World involves eating and sipping you way around EPCOT, you’ll be happy to know that the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival returns daily from August 27 through November 21, 2026. Unlike Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is accessible to all guests during normal park hours.
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is a big draw every year for Disney foodies, as it brings together cuisine from around the world in small bite form. Dozens of outdoor booths sell food and beverage items you can only get during this festival (all food and beverages are available for purchase).
The whole family can enjoy the Food and Wine Fesival, including kids! In addition to kid-friendly menu items found around the festival, Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt will keep eagle-eyed youngsters engaged as you make your way from booth to booth. Emile’s Fromage Montage is a cheese-inspired foodie crawl featured annually at the Food and Wine Festival.
The Food and Wine Festival is also home to the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, where you can catch your favorite band perform live at the American Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion. Lineups for the 2026 festival include Hanson, Smash Mouth, The Fray, Bowling for Soup, Boyz II Men, and many more.
Admission to Eat to the Beat Concert Series is included with your theme park ticket to EPCOT, with seating available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reserved seating may be obtained through Eat to the Beat Concert Series dining packages, which includes a dining reservation at a participating EPCOT restaurant and seats to that evening’s concert.

Resort-wide seasonal food and beverage offerings
Outside of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Walt Disney World will be home to multiple limited-time food and beverage programs to celebrate the fall season. It was recently announced that Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom will launch a new lounge menu for a limited time this fall, including a savory charcuterie board…
…as well as alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options. I personally have my eye on this Cactus Rose Margarita made with LALO Blanco Tequila, prickly pear, lime, and agave.
Want to celebrate Halloween while also checking your character dining box off your vacation to-do list? Hollywood & Vine over at Hollywood Studios hosts Minnie’s Seasonal Dine, which should return in 2026. Minnie’s Halloween Dine usually begins sometime in mid-October, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for an update regarding this year’s offerings.
You don’t even need a theme park ticket to enjoy some of the best Halloween offerings at Walt Disney World! You can find festive Halloween treats around Disney Springs, including decadent chocolates at Amorette’s Patisserie. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will once again transform into Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar from August 11 through November 9. The fan-favorite lounge will come un-alive with tons of decorations and creative menu items.
