As the winter weather melts away, Walt Disney World turns to spring in full force with the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. The springtime festival occurs annually from early March through early June and features limited-time bits and sips along with live entertainment, beautiful floral displays and character topiaries, and much more.

What happens during the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival?
The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is Disney World’s springtime food festival. It is one of four festivals that take place annually at EPCOT, in addition to the Festival of the Arts, the Food and Wine Festival, and the Festival of the Holidays.

Because it is primarily a food festival, the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival has its own distinct identity as far as the menu items sold. Across the park, guests will spot Outdoor Kitchens selling food and beverage items that are akin to sample size portions. Because this is a spring festival, expect to find flavors like honey and citrus as a prominent theme across the Outdoor Kitchens. There are plenty of colorful dishes to enjoy, too.

The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is unique in that it brings all of the color to EPCOT this time of year in the form of floral displays and character topiaries. In my opinion, it’s the most beautiful out of all of EPCOT’s festivals!

There is no separate admission required to enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival. That said, food and beverage items require an additional fee. You will also pay small fees to participate in the scavenger hunts and redeem the prizes associated with those activities.

When does the next EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival take place?
In 2025, the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival will take place from March 5 through June 2. The festival takes place daily, so no matter what day you visit EPCOT, the park will be in full festival mode. Each day is filled with tasty food and beverage items at the Outdoor Kitchens, beautiful topiaries, and more.

What’s new at this year’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival?
Disney World keeps things interesting for repeat guests by offering new things at every Flower and Garden Festival. In addition to brand-new merchandise, there are new Outdoor Kitchens, Garden Rocks Concert Series acts, and much more! 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the Flower and Garden Festival, so you can expect to see even more commemorative merchandise.

In 2025, you’ll find TWO new Outdoor Kitchens: Beach Grub and Yacht Grub. These are fun play-on-word booths inspired by two of EPCOT’s neighboring hotels, Disney’s Beach Club and Disney’s Yacht Club Resorts. You’ll also be able to enjoy dozens of new food and beverages items across the many Outdoor Kitchens at this year’s festival. You can read more about those new and returning menu items in just a sec.

The character topiaries are a big draw for guests at the Flower and Garden Festival, and each year typically brings with it a new topiary display joining the lineup. This year, keep your eyes peeled for a new display featuring Maui, Moana, Heihei and Pua.

Magic Shots are a fun way to add a touch of magic to your family photos when visiting Disney World. For this year’s Flower and Garden Festival, a brand-new Magic Shot incorporates EPCOT’s very own Figment in topiary form, perfect for this springtime festival.

For younger guests, a brand-new nautical-themed play area called Playalong Bay will debut at the Flower and Garden Festival. This play area is inspired by Stormalong Bay, the fan-favorite pool area shared between Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. You can also check out a new garden showing the language of emotions as shown in plants, inspired by Inside Out 2.

EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Garden Rocks Concert Series
On select evenings during the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, guests can enjoy live entertainment at the American Gardens Theater, located in the American Adventures Pavilion. The Garden Rocks Concert Series features fan-favorite bands and singing acts with multiple performances on their scheduled evenings. On each concert evening, shows take place at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM and 8:00 PM.

If you want guaranteed seating for your favorite act, you’ll want to look into the Garden Rocks Concert Series Dining Packages.
Here’s what you will get when it’s time to dine:
- At Spice Road Table: 2 small plates, a shared tagine, a shared dessert platter and a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older)
- At Other Participating Restaurants: An entrée and dessert, or one full buffet (where applicable)—as well as a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older)

If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, you may be able to redeem dining credits for your Garden Rocks Concert Series dining package:
- At Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue – One (1) quick-service meal will be redeemed from the Disney Dining Plan or Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan for each Guest.
- At Le Cellier Steakhouse – Two (2) table-service meals will be redeemed from the Disney Dining Plan for each Guest.
- At Other Participating Restaurants – One (1) table-service meal will be redeemed from the Disney Dining Plan for each Guest.
Speaking of Regal Eagle, you may be able to score a Same-Day Dining Package that includes a meal at Regal Eagle (no reservation required) as well as guaranteed seating at a concert later that same evening. Availability is limited.
