You know what time it is — it’s time for another weekly roundup of Disney theme park news!
This was a busy week for the Disney theme parks, including a victory parade in Disneyland for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl. February is filled with things to see and do, like next week’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World. For this week’s roundup, we’re covering several parks, festivals, and exciting updates on upcoming attractions.
Season Announced For Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opening in Walt Disney World
We’re getting “closer and closer every day” to the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! The new ride will arrive this year at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort in 2024, but now we better understand the opening timeline at both resorts.
We now know that Magic Kingdom will be the first to receive Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, with the ride opening this summer. Disney said the ride will open “later in 2024” at Disneyland. While no precise opening date has been announced yet, this narrows down the possible opening timeline significantly. Summer is shaping up to be a busy season in Magic Kingdom, with Country Bear Musical Jamboree slated to open around that time as well.
Along with the summer opening announcement, we got a first look at the Audio-Animatronic figure of Tiana that will be featured on the ride. Tiana’s appearance features the new animatronic style with the highly detailed facial movements seen abroad in World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland. The ride will include several versions of the Tiana animatronic and over a dozen new animal characters.

Menus Released For EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts wraps up in a few days and will soon be followed by the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. This springtime fest will run several weeks shorter than it has in recent years, resembling more of what its dates looked like pre-2020.
Menus were announced this week, giving us a couple of weeks to start planning what to buy. This year’s festival features over 60 new menu items. There are also many returning favorite menu items, including the Froot Loops Shake at BRUNCHCOT…
…and the Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre from Fleur de Lys – I seriously ate so many of those last year. In all, there are nearly 20 Outdoor Kitchens serving up festival eats and sips.
Despite the festival being shortened, some of the booths – like EPCOT Farmers Feast – will still feature a rotating menu that changes. The 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival takes place from February 28 through May 27. Be on the lookout soon for a full festival breakdown!

Disneyland Releases Foodie Guide For California Food & Wine Festival
The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival isn’t the only springtime festival going on at a Disney park. Over at Disneyland Resort, the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival is about to begin! The festival will run this year from March 1 through April 22.
Menus were announced this week, with nearly 100 new food and beverage items gracing the menus! One of the things I love most about the California Adventure Food and Wine Festival is how different the menus are from year to year. Like Flower and Garden, a full guide to the festival will be available closer to its opening day.
