Disneyland Announces Return of $50 Kids’ Ticket Deal
2025 is an exciting year at Disneyland Resort! July 17, 2025 will mark the 70th anniversary of the Happiest Place on Earth, and the parks are preparing for a memorable celebration.
This includes the premiere of Walt Disney: A Magical Life, which will debut at the Main Street Opera House and play alongside Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln after its initial run. The show will feature the first Audio-Animatronic figure of Walt Disney himself.
We don’t have a premiere date for Walt Disney: A Magical Life just yet, but we did hear about a ticket offer for early 2025 Disneyland vacations. It was announced this week that Disneyland will bring back its kids’ ticket promotion, where guests ages 3 through 9 can visit Disneyland for as little as $50 per day when buying a 1-Day, 1-Park ticket. The tickets go on sale on October 22, 2024, and are valid for for visits January 7 through March 20, 2025.

Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Celebrate Anniversaries
We celebrated a couple of birthdays this week! Disney fans have October 1 circled on their calendar each year to recognize the opening of Walt Disney World. The resort officially opened on October 1, 1971, so Magic Kingdom celebrated its 53rd anniversary this week!
EPCOT also celebrated its 42nd anniversary — the park first opened its gates on October 1, 1982.
When the parks aren’t celebrating major milestone anniversaries, you are likely not going to notice anything different if you visit on the actual anniversary date (aside from a photo op or a short character cavalcade). The next major anniversaries that will likely offer a little more celebration is Magic Kingdom’s 55th anniversary in two years and EPCOT’s 45th anniversary in three years.
