Disney Theme Park and Cruise Line News For the Week of June 9, 2025
Ready for another weekly roundup of the latest Disney theme park and Disney Cruise Line news? Of course you are! As summer sets in and schools are out for the season, many families are finalizing the plans for their upcoming Disney World and Disneyland vacations.

Whether you’re visiting this month or your trip isn’t for a little bit, there’s a news story here that you’ll want to take note of — especially our leading story!
Changes Arrive to Disney World and Disneyland Dining Reservation Interface
The process of booking dining at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort became a lot more convenient this week. A series of updates rolled out on both the Disney World and Disneyland apps, making it even easier to check dining reservation availability.

Among the changes in the app include a dining availability calendar, which shows which dates have open availability at a glance. You can also now narrow your search across multiple dates and locations (up to 10 days across all dining locations at once). You can filter by meal (breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner), location, character dining, and Disney Dining Plan availability.

Finally, you can narrow down your search even further with a time range slider. This means no more endless scrolling to guess what times are available. In all, these changes should make your dining reservation experience much more hassle-free.

Oogie Boogie Bash Ticket On-Sale Dates Revealed at Disneyland Resort
Halloween Time is one of my favorite seasons at Disneyland Resort in large part because of Oogie Boogie Bash. The after hours event is returning in 2025 for more evenings than ever, taking place on select dates from August 17 through October 31 at Disney California Adventure.

This week, we learned about the on-sale dates for tickets, so mark your calendars! Inspire Magic Key holders can purchase tickets starting on June 24, with all other Magic Key holders being able to purchase tickets starting on June 25. Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 26.

To get the hype started for this year, Disney also revealed Mickey and Minnie’s new looks they’ll be sporting this Halloween season at Disneyland:

We also got the first sneak peek at some of the merchandise that will be available for purchase later this summer (because in Disney’s eyes, Halloween starts bright and early in the summer):

Oogie Boogie Bash tickets will range in price from $139 to $199 per person, varying by date.

Foodie Guide Released For Pride Nite at Disneyland Resort
Before we can get to Halloween Time, Disneyland has one final After Hours event to celebrate: Pride Nite! To celebrate Pride Month, Pride Nite will take place twice next week on Tuesday, June 16 and Thursday, June 18.

Ahead of Pride Nite, Disney Parks Blog revealed a full Foodie Guide with goodies available for purchase around the resort. Make sure to check it out if you’re going to be at Disneyland next week!

Construction Update: Stern Characters Installed on the Disney Adventure
We’re getting closer and closer to the launch of not one, but two new Disney Cruise Line vessels: the Disney Destiny, which has its maiden voyage in November, and the Disney Adventure, launching in December.

The Disney Adventure will be Disney Cruise Line’s first ship with a homeport in Asia! The ship will sail out of Singapore with all-days-at-sea itineraries to start.

Ahead of completion, the Disney Adventure reached an exciting construction milestone this week: the installation of the stern characters, Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie!

Be sure to follow along as we share more updates from Disney Cruise Line has it gears up for a very busy latter half of 2025.
