Disney Cruise Line is in an era of expansion, and the next step is launching its next ship, the Disney Destiny. From 2022 through 2031, it will have more than doubled the size of its fleet to 13 vessels. Last year alone, Disney Cruise Line opened a new island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and launched the Disney Treasure. Looking ahead, two of its upcoming ships will be homeported in Asia — the Disney Adventure in Singapore and an unnamed ship in Japan — making Disney Cruise Line a truly global fleet.

Then there are the Triton class ships, a class of headliner vessels redefining the Disney Cruise Line experience. The first Triton class ship to embark on its maiden voyage was the Disney Wish, followed by the Disney Treasure, which arrived in December of 2024. Coming up next is the Disney Destiny, which will make its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025.
Disney Cruise Line just revealed a ton of new and exciting information about the Disney Destiny, including a first look at the staterooms and glimpses at what some of the dining options will be!
This guide will be updated as more details are revealed ahead of the Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage, which takes place on November 20, 2025. Be sure to come back for the latest details.
Ahead of the reveal, Disney Cruise Line mailed out press packages to select members of the media including clues as to what will be revealed from the Disney Destiny. Many of these clues were aligned with the first teaser promo for the Destiny, including what will likely be the themes of the various spaces around the ship. Think restaurants, kids clubs, bars and lounges, staterooms, etc.

Disney Destiny: A Heroic and Marvel-ous Adventure At Sea
Disney Destiny is themed after Disney heroes and villains old and new! From classic animated characters to thrilling Marvel superheroes, you’ll find it all aboard Disney Cruise Line’s eighth ship. Before you board the ship, you’ll notice Spider-Man and a group of Spider-Bots battling it out on the stern.

Once you are on board, the Grand Hall greets guests, adorned with a statue of the Black Panther himself, T’Challa.

Depending on when you find yourself in the Grand Hall, you may need to watch out — you never know who you’ll run into. The God of Mischief Loki might try to declare himself ruler of the vessel and its occupants –– meaning, the Disney Destiny and all who sail upon it! The Grand Hall features 360-degree lighting effects that fill the room with life and color, giving it the capability to transform into countless different moods and hues when the occasion calls for it.

Disney Destiny is incorporating Marvel characters in a way we’ve never seen before on a Disney Cruise Line ship! If your family has a Marvel fan, this will definitely be the ship to sail on.
Disney Destiny Staterooms
Disney revealed concept renderings from the various stateroom types aboard Disney Destiny. Staterooms include Interior…

Oceanview…

…and Verandah.

The staterooms will have one of several themes, with each room’s focal point being the gorgeous artwork hanging above the main bed. There’s artwork inspired by Hercules…

…Mulan…

…Brave, and more!

There will also be a select number of Royal Suites aboard Disney Destiny.

Select Royal Suites are themed after Hercules…

…while others are themed after The Incredibles.

Disney also revealed a first look at the Concierge staterooms aboard the Disney Destiny.

These rooms will feature artwork from the animated film Fantasia.

There will also be Concierge Solarium suites aboard the Disney Destin with picturesque ocean views.

The Destiny Tower Suite, which boasts over 2,000 square feet of living space across two floors, is inspired by Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man.

The Destiny Tower Suite, along with all concierge-level rooms, come with access to the Disney Destiny’s Concierge Lounge and exclusive sun deck. The lounge will be designed after the Avengers’ Manhattan headquarters, outfitted with artwork, “sophisticated styling,” and of course, complimentary food and beverages.

Disney Destiny Dining
Like the other Triton-class ships, the Disney Destiny will be home to unique dining experiences you cannot find aboard any other Disney Cruise Line ship!
PRIDE LANDS: FEAST OF THE LION KING
If you’re a 90s kid like me, you probably remember watching the bug-eating sequence from ‘Hakuna Matata’ and thought to yourself, “You know? Those bugs sorta look appetizing.” I don’t think bugs will be on the menu at Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King, but there will be a Lion King-themed restaurant and dining experience aboard the Disney Destiny, which in my opinion is way better than bugs!

According to Disney, Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King will be “a first-of-its-kind Disney dining experience” with “live musicians and storytellers” retelling memorable moments and singing classic songs from The Lion King. The music will be accompanied by “authentic African instruments and theatrical props.”

As for the food, be prepared to dine from a uniquely themed menu with “authentic African spice blends, sauces, grains and produce.” Featured entrees include the Pan-seared Berbere-spiced Roasted Chicken served with Jollof rice, fried plantains, blistered tomatoes, and green harissa sauce.

Or, try Nala’s Roasted Pork Tenderloin with a Black-eyed bean-chorizo casserole, fried yuca, thyme, and pickled purple onions.

For dessert, there’s the Warm Chocolate Malva Pudding, made with sweet vanilla pudding, apricot jam, warm buttery cream sauce, and vanilla ice cream.

Or, finish your meal off with a Pineapple Upside Down Cake, made with moist yogurt cake, caramelized pineapple, cherries, and rooibos mousse.

It wouldn’t be a Disney restaurant without some themed beverages. Kids will love the Slimy Yet Satisfying, a Sprite infused mocktail with lime gelatin and garnished with centipede and worm gummies.

Adults can sip on the Can You Feel the Rum Tonight?, made with Starr 7 Year Oak Aged Rum, Amarula Cream Liqueur, mango smoothie mix, a pinch of cinnamon, shaken with ice, and garnished with a fresh mint leaf.

Personally, I’ll be sipping on whatever beverage I need to order to get this Ed the Hyena souvenir sipper.

This appears to be the same setup as Plaza de Coco aboard the Disney Treasure and Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure aboard the Disney Wish (remember, these three Triton-class ships have the exact same layout!).
WORLDS OF MARVEL
Like the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, the Disney Destiny will be home to Worlds of Marvel, an immersive dining experience that brings the Marvel superheroes front and center as you dine. This version of the Worlds of Marvel dining experience will feature the dynamic duo of Rocket and Groot from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise.

DE VIL’S
If there was any kind of establishment that would celebrate Cruella de Vil, it would have to be a piano lounge. And that’s exactly what guests will experience aboard the Disney Destiny with De Vil’s.

The adults-only piano lounge will feature a “Hollywood Regency-inspired aesthetic” that could only come from the stylish world of Cruella de Vil. A spotted piano will be the focal point of the lounge, and guests will be able to sip on “trendy martini, chic cocktail or glamorous glass of bubbly.” For beverages, you can sip on The Fashionista, Freeze-dried strawberry and banana-infused Patron Añejo Cristalino Tequila with banana liqueur, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice clarified with milk and chilled. It even comes served with strawberry shortcake popcorn.

Or, sip on the Fearless Sir Galahad mocktail, made with Free Spirits Non-alcoholic Bourbon, bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup, and Angostura bitters finished with aromatic smoke.

CASK AND CANNON
Disney Destiny will draw inspiration from the Disney films as well as the theme parks, and the latter will come to life in the form of Cask and Cannon! This pub is inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean attractions found around the globe. The pub will feature rare, specialty, and vintage rums along with “bootlegged” brews. This will also be the spot to watch your favorite live televised sporting event.
HAUNTED MANSION PARLOR
This one sounds familiar, doesn’t it? That’s because this next highly-themed lounge is also appearing aboard the Disney Treasure! Haunted Mansion Parlor will make its Disney Cruise Line debut in December 2024, and it is also joining the lineup of dining and lounge spaces aboard the Disney Destiny.

THE SANCTUM
The world of Marvel superheroes finds its way to The Sanctum, a lounge inspired by Doctor Strange and his New York Sanctum. Guests will be able to order an array of cocktails, spirits and coffees while taking in some entertainment, mystical items, and even some surprises.

Those food and beverage items include unique and mysterious cocktails like the Circle of the Cosmos, made with Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice garnished with a lemon peel spiral.

Food items include stuffed waffles that come with either a custard cream filling or a mixed berry compote filling.

OTHER RETURNING DINING EXPERIENCES
In addition to new and exclusive dining experiences found aboard the Disney Destiny, guests will also find tried-and-true favorites from the Disney Cruise Line portfolio of restaurants. 1923 will make its return, an homage to Disney animation. This rendition of 1923 aboard the Disney Destiny will feature sketches of heroes and villains from films like Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Big Hero 6, and Wreck-It Ralph.

Palo Steakhouse will also be one of the restaurant options aboard the Disney Destiny as an adult-exclusive experience.

Other returning adult-exclusive dining experiences include Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, which offers a menu of French-inspired cuisine, and The Rose, a cocktail lounge perfect for pre- and post-dinner cordials.
EDNA Á LA MODE SWEETS
My sweet tooth calls the shots in my life, which is why I’m especially looking forward to seeing Edna Á La Mode Sweets come to life aboard the Disney Destiny. This sweets shop will include “handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats” to enjoy on your voyage.

Disney revealed a first look at some of the exclusive treats you’ll be able to purchase at Edna Á La Mode, like two variations of Chocolate Barks: Edna (white chocolate, dark chocolate, and chopped cookies ‘n cream cookies) and Jack-Jack (dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and mini chocolate chip cookies).

And, of course, there will be sculptures of Edna Mode herself and Jack-Jack to snap a selfie with.
WALK-UP CAFES
Whether you’re looking for a spot to grab a quick cup of coffee in the morning or a lite bite throughout the day, the Disney Destiny has got you covered. It will feature two walk-up cafes off the Grand Hall called Café Megara and Café Merida, themed after the films Hercules and Brave, respectively.
Disney Destiny Attractions, Entertainment, and Characters
Like any great Disney Experiences destination, the Disney Destiny will be home to one-of-a-kind attractions and character meet and greet opportunities. The AquaMouse coaster, which debuted on the Disney Wish, will feature an all-new story called “Sing a Silly Song,” featuring encounters with Disney villains.

Once your little ones brave AquaMouse, they’ll be able to let loose in a splash zone inspired by Pixar’s “Toy Story” franchise.

Broadway-style productions aboard the Disney Destiny will include Frozen: A Musical Spectacular and Disney Seas the Adventure, both found at the Walt Disney Theatre.

It was announced at the Disney Experiences Showcase at the 2024 D23 Disney Fan Event that “Disney Hercules” will be the signature production aboard the Destiny.

“Hercules” will feature theatrical debut of “Shooting Star,” a song originally written for the animated movie by Alan Menken and David Zippel. The show will also be filled with incredible puppetry, as seen in this concept art:

First-run films by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm are also available throughout your voyage in the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas.

Guests will also be able to meet their favorite heroes and villains, from Oogie Boogie and Maleficent to Captain Jack Sparrow and Loki. The villains, in particular, will be up to no good (as usual) and guests can interact with them in a number of fun ways. Ever wanted to be in a fashion show with Cruella de Vil herself? Curious about what it would be like to partake in a dazzling parlor trick or sleight of hand with Dr. Facilier? These experiences and many like them are available to guests aboard the Disney Destiny, if you dare!
These characters and many more will make appearances throughout the ship in all sorts of ways, including a dance party hosted in Oogie Boogie’s shipboard lair (you KNOW that’s where I’ll be found) as well as trivia night that gets interrupted by Disney villains!
Guests of all ages can enjoy a nighttime dance party called Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party…

…a sports arena with free-play zones and obstacle courses called Hero Zone, and more.

Disney Destiny Kid and Adult Exclusive Activities
Kids of all ages will be able to enjoy their own clubs, catered to their specific age group. Like other Disney Cruise Line ships, you’ll find It’s a Small World Nursery for little ones ages six months to three years, Disney’s Oceaneer Club for kids ages three through 10, Edge for tweens ages 11 through 13, and Vibe for teenagers ages 14 through 17.
Outside of adult-exclusive dining, those above the age of 18 will find respite at Quiet Cove, which includes an infinity pool, poolside bar and café.

When it’s time to truly indulge and pamper yourself, you can choose to spend some time at Senses Spa…

Untangled Salon…

or Hook’s Barbery, complete with its own hidden bar.

Disney Destiny Merchandise
We can’t have a conversation about a new Disney Cruise Line ship without talking about merchandise! Whether you want to embrace your inner superhero or you’re more into the classic DCL swag, the Disney Destiny has got you covered.

Of course, Hero Minnie and Hero Mickey will be well represented in the gift shops.

The superhero trend continues with Loungefly backpacks, Minnie Ears, drinkware, apparel, and more.

Like the other Disney Cruise Line ships, you can score this awesome spirit jersey inspired by the Destiny’s stern.

I personally have my eyes and wallet set on the Disney Destiny Logo Collection.

This collection is also filled with apparel and accessories with that quintessential Disney Cruise Line flair.

Guests aboard the Disney Destiny inaugural sailings can also score exclusive merchandise like limited-edition apparel…

…drinkware…

…and Pandora accessories.
