Disney Cruise Line’s next ship to join the fleet, the Disney Destiny, sets sail on November 20, 2025. The Disney Destiny will be filled with exciting new adventures themed after your favorite heroes and villains. Because the Disney Destiny is themed after heroes and villains, we can expect a heavy dose of Marvel-themed offerings on board. One of those spaces isThe Sanctum, a lounge themed after Doctor Strange, a first of its kind for Disney Cruise Line.

We just learned a ton of new information about The Sanctum, so let’s dive in and see what this unique space has in store for guests!
The Sanctum Design
While The Sanctum was previously announced as one of the Disney Destiny offerings, we haven’t been able to get a glimpse at what the space would look and feel like — until today. Disney revealed a first look at the concept art for The Sanctum:

From this concept art, we can spot bar seating along with plenty of lounge space for mingling and conversing with fellow superheroes. Be on the lookout for plenty of Marvel Easter Eggs including design details inspired by one of Doctor Strange’s Rune Shields, along with the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj.
The Sanctum Food and Beverages
The Sanctum will feature small bites along with mocktails, cocktails, spirits and coffee for purchase. Disney shared select menu items in this first round of reveals, including the Circle of the Cosmos, made with Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice garnished with a lemon peel spiral.

Another featured cocktail in The Sanctum will be the Vapors of Valtorr, made with Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup topped with berry-flavored bubbles.

For food, guests can snack on a selection of stuffed waffles with fillings like custard cream…

…or a mixed berry compote.

The Sanctum is part of an exciting lineup of dining and lounge spaces on board the Disney Destiny. Guests can also check out Haunted Mansion Parlor (originally seen on the Disney Treasure), a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar called Cask and Cannon, and a Cruella de Vil-themed piano lounge called De Vil’s.

For additional Marvel adventures on the Disney Destiny, there’s a new iteration of Worlds of Marvel as part of the rotational dining offerings.

The Marvel theming will be apparent before you depart on your Disney Destiny voyage. The ship’s stern will feature none other than your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and a small army of Spider-Bots:

The Grand Hall will feature a statue of the Black Panther:

Needless to say, the Disney Destiny will be the ship you’ll want to sail on next if you’re a fan of all things Marvel. Be sure to follow along as more news is revealed ahead of the Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage this November!
