Details Unveiled For New Additions Coming To Disneyland Paris
This week marked the 33rd anniversary of the opening of Disneyland Paris. To celebrate, Disney unveiled new details for some of the new additions making their way to the resort.

Perhaps the most anticipated addition was announced last summer at the D23 Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California. The first-ever immersive world themed to Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Lion King is coming to Disney Adventure park, with work set to begin this fall. The world will include a new water flume attraction featuring Audio-Animatronics figures, special effects and three slopes.

This week, Disney unveiled the first piece of concept art depicting the interior of the attraction:

That’s not the only new addition making its way to Disneyland Paris. A new spinning carousel swing attraction themed to Pixar’s Up is coming to Disney Adventure Park.

Disney Sequoia Lodge, one of the resort hotels at Disneyland Paris, will also undergo an “ambitious refurbishment” starting in 2026.

Disney Adventure Prepares For Float Out Milestone
Disney Cruise Line is launching two new ships in 2025. One month after the Disney Destiny has its maiden voyage, the Disney Adventure will debut in Singapore. It will be the first Disney Cruise Line ship with a homeport in Asia.

Inching closer to its debut, the Disney Adventure will achieve a major construction milestone — float out — this weekend. Disney Cruise Line teased the accomplishment on social media with the doors opening in Wismar, Germany, where the ship is being built.

A float out ceremony takes place shortly after the vessel first touches water. Since ships are built on a dry dock, it’s an important milestone in the construction process when the ship actually floats in water for the first time! The Disney Adventure embarks on its maiden voyage on December 15, 2025.
