Disney Cruise Line fans have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to announcements, developments, and new offerings on the horizon. The expansion of Disney Cruises has been impressive and quick in these past few years, with more new things to see and do in the three-year span between 2022 and 2025 than there has been in its 26-year history. In short, by the end of 2025, Disney Cruise Line will have doubled its fleet and will have also added more for guests to see and do off the ships.
By the end of 2025, we will have THREE new cruise ships added to the fleet (in addition to its 5th ship added in 2022) AND a brand-new private island destination. It has never been a more exciting time to sail aboard Disney Cruise Line, so let’s recap everything we know is coming down the pike.
Disney Treasure: December 21, 2025
The next ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet is the Disney Treasure, the second of three Wish-class ships. The first of these, of course, is the Disney Wish, which first set sail in 2022. The Disney Treasure is expected to have a very similar layout but with its own unique theming and personalized touches that emphasize a spirit of adventure and exploration.
Some of the exciting features onboard the Disney Treasure are bars and lounges themed after classic Disney Parks attractions. Specifically, I’m really hyped up over a Haunted Mansion-themed bar called Haunted Mansion Parlor, a Jungle Cruise-themed lounge called Skipper Society, and Periscope Pub, a bar themed after 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
The ship also takes inspiration from several beloved Disney films, seen in a restaurant inspired by Pixar’s “Coco,” and staterooms and suites inspired by “The Lion King,” “Aladdin,” and “The Jungle Book.”
The Disney Treasure will embark on its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024.

Disney Adventure: 2025
Disney Cruise Line will launch not one but two new ships in 2025. The first we’ll talk about today is the Disney Adventure, a ship that was actually acquired by Disney mid-construction. In collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, The Disney Adventure will be the first Disney Cruise Line ship to have a home port in Southeast Asia. It will also be among the first cruise ships in the world to be fueled by green methanol, a low-emission fuel option.
Once the Disney Adventure launches, it will offer three- and four-night vacations at sea. To entertain the guests spending their entire cruise on board, Disney Imagineers are designing several highly themed areas based on Disney characters, films, and franchises. Those areas are called Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing, and Toy Story Place.
Disney also shared a sneak peek of the staterooms found aboard the Disney Adventure. According to Disney, the rooms will feature “family-friendly conveniences and special Disney touches.”
The capacity of this ship will be much larger than other ships in the fleet, with the Disney Adventure able to accommodate 6,000 guests and 2,300 crew. By comparison, the largest ship currently in the fleet, the Disney Wish, can accommodate roughly 4,000 passengers and 1,500 crew. The Disney Adventure will enter service and embark on its maiden voyage on December 15, 2025 and will be sailing out of Singapore.

Disney Destiny: November 2025
The third and final Wish-class ship will be called the Disney Destiny. This ship will be themed after Heroes and Villains.
Specifically, the Destiny is inspired by the “opposing forces of light and dark,” which “drive characters to rise to their purpose.” A teaser video shared by Disney offered a few possible clues for what we can expect on the Destiny:
The ship will be a must-see destination for Marvel fans. The Grand Hall features a statue of T’Challa, a.k.a. The Black Panther.
Unique dining on board includes a restaurant themed after the animated film The Lion King.
The ship will also feature spaces themed after the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disney Parks worldwide, The Sanctum from Marvel’s Doctor Strange, and more. The Disney Destiny is set to embark on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025.

Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point: OPENED June 2024
Disney Cruise Line is not only adding ships as new guest offerings in the next couple of years. A a brand-new private island destination called Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point also joined the lineup.
Lookout Cay joins Castaway Cay as an island port of call for Disney Cruise Line. The new destination is located on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Like Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will offer a day of fun and relaxation, featuring beaches, private cabana rentals, dining, and opportunities to explore the island.
The first sailing to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point was aboard a three-night sailing aboard the Disney Magic, which set sail on June 6, 2024.
