The arrival of fall is fun for many reasons. Pumpkin spice everything at Starbucks, after-hours parties at both Disney World and Disneyland, and everyone’s homes suddenly look like the inside of a Spirit Halloween catalog in the best of ways. After months of the house looking the same, it’s time to drag those boxes out of the attic and decorate!
Fall is my favorite season to decorate during – you have general autumnal leaf-changing, cider-sipping vibes, followed by a trifecta of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the majority of the holiday season (that’s right, Christmas is only on the third or fourth day of winter – most of that holiday hype happens during the fall!). Around this time of year, I’m usually on the lookout for new decor pieces to add to my home (okay, I really start looking in August, but things really kick into high gear come September).
For Disney fans who want to show off some magic in their own home, Halloween is a great time of year to do so. When you can’t be in the parks 24/7 (wouldn’t that be a dream!), incorporating some subtle or not-so-subtle decorations can help bridge the gap in between vacations…something we here at The World of Spark take very seriously.
